Thanks for your brutally honest check-in of your condition.

I'm not sure what you mean by a gallbladder " damaged beyond repair " (or

however you worded it). Ever the optimist I'm thinking you have 4 weeks to fix

it if you want to. You have nothing to lose, if it gets cured, you don't need

surgery, if it doesn't it will be easier to remove surgically.

My own GB lining was over 2X Alok's in thickness, my lining was 11-12 mm

thick and I had all the colic in the world. I'm thinking this was

CHOLECYSTITIS (inflammation of the GB) which can occur with or w/o

CHOLELITHIASIS (gallstones). I'm thinking I had an INFECTION. Some

people just have the stones, but others of us have concurrant stones AND

infection of the GB. Now I am basically cured (as long as I keep on my plan).

My own theory, and we are all operating on theory here--no one has the full

story of what this is all about, is that many of us are dealing with an

INFECTION, possibly bacterial, and possibly parasitic. At my worst, I was in

the hospital, suffering from a near-fatal pancreatiitis and simultaneous

cholecystitis with stones and i was given serious ANTIBIOTICS. Guess what

happened? I got better. Furthermore, I'm thinking with ancillary medications

and supplements we can all heal our GB lining and get healthy again. This is

what I'm betting the farm on.

My ideas for curing CHOLECYSTITIS:

1) ANTIBIOTICS Plain and simple. Whatever the best there is. Take it for up

to 2 weeks. Maybe I could have gotten better without it, but I'm OK with that

being part of my cure.

2) VITAMIN C massive doses. Take orally, I use Ester C and still take it.

3) COCONUT OIL one of the best antiviral/antibacterial/antifungal agents in

the world. Take about 2 tablespoons a day

4) GARLIC Also anti-microbial. Take lots. Good for cholesterol flow too

5) HERBS There are many that kill germs. The ones I put in my blender drink

daily are CINNAMON, CLOVES, NUTMEG, CARDAMON, and ALLSPICE

6) CASTOR OIL PACKS 1-2 times a day

7) all the other things, STRESS MANAGEMENT, DIET, HOMEOPATHY,

HERBS, WATER, ETC.

It probably takes 2-4 weeks to kill the infection. Once it's gone you have to

snuff out reoccurances but you are basically home free. This could save a

diseased and damaged GB and perhaps prevent surgery. I'm counting on it

to help me avert something I DO NOT want, surgery.

So, maybe you've got an irreparable condition, I don't know, but I was in the

crapper and now I'm normal. I think if mine was salvageable, yours is too. If

you work hard like I did you can beat the rap.
