Guest guest
Hi , I love your positive attitude. I don't want to be a stick in the mud I just really want everyone to get better. I have done 60 hours of research on the vitamin C. That said 1000 mg won't do a darn thing. You really have to bump the amount up. I could go on and on about why but to make a long story short go to Vitamin C, Linus ing Institute's Micronutrient Information Center. That site will explain how Americans don't take enough vitamin c to even keep a common cold at bay. I just wanted say that I have gained over 1 1/2 inches in calves. Closer to 2 inches now. That can't be placebo.

Don't give up. We hit a plateau for a few weeks. I can move almost all my toes now. I can't remember when they all moved. Not at least since I was 7. Adam (12 years) is finally having results. Slow with him. (11) is having great results. She can stand on her tippy toes. Her CMT is just about unnoticeable.

Guest guest
Hi Reema, We don't have a daily recommend dosage for CMT. It is just hit and miss. I read an old study that said Vit C can cause oxalton stones however I read more recent studies that said Vit C was safe and didn't cause stones. Just do your research and do what you feel is best. Personally I would rather get kidney stones then have CMT. My advice is if you get diarrhea from vitamin C take a lower dosage. I have adjusted my dosage a few times. Guest guest
You're absolutely right Chi. There are a few studies out there showing that vit C can reduce the effectiveness of Gleevec and other drugs that are metabolized via the CYP 3A4 cytochrome. Drink plenty of warm or hot teas. If your a pop drinker now is a good time to quit!
