Guest guest
I just joined the group, because I am scheduled for gall bladder removal this Tuesday. I am having second thoughts..... I have been nauseated for 3 months, fatty / fried foods make me very nauseated, but no acute pain. I have had Upper GI, ultrasound, and Hida Scan. The ultrasound showed multiple small polyps. The Hida Scan showed a gall bladder that only excretes at 5%, anything under 30% is abnormal. My doctor said surgery is the best thing. Do I really need this surgery? Are there other ways to get my gall bladder healthy? I am a 39 yr old male, who had been on Atkins (a year before). I am relatively healthy but 40 lbs overwight. Any comments welcomed!!!!!!
