Re: I told my Doctor I'm flushing......

Mike,

I've been postponing my own yearly checkup because of this reason

the last time I saw my doctor last spring, I was having the GB

attacks, and he referred me to a surgeon that had yanked out his wife's

GB. My doctor assured me it was a simple operation just in and out

in one day...... and so forth. I told him I do not give up body parts

easily, God put them there for a reason and if I can keep them I will.

I think the bottom line is your doctor doesn't know the flushes work because he

didn't read about it in a medical journal with controlled studies.

Some folks will never broaden their minds, they choose to be narrow minded. You

can't change them. I would consider changing doctors

to one more open minded. I'm still working on trying not to be

intimidated by health care providers.......

I'll keep you posted on my spring check up, I'm hoping

my doctor will be so busy he will forget my GB symptoms

and we'll just talk about other things, he loves to talk

so I am confident I can distract him by asking lots of questions...:)

Happy Health,

Dee

The first flush I ever did was after a General practitioner (GP we call them in

Australia)...fully qualified Doctor ...recommended me too do it about 7 - 8

years ago..until that time I had never heard of the liver GB flush.... & when I

first read what the flush involved ...500ml (1/2 litre of Olive oil) plus lemon

juice I wasnt real impressed... (The flush instructions he gave me too do was a

lot tougher than Hulga's standard ...but worked very well)

The point is ..there are some Doctors out there who believe in this stuff..it is

worthwhile finding one close (hopefully ) too where u live who is prepared too

think outside of the usual narrow minded Doctors view.

Whenever I shift houses...I ring the local natural Health type societies &

ask for recommendations on alternate minded, but qualified Doctors ...that way

you can see a knowledgable qualified Doctor who is in a position too give you an

unbiased opinion from both sides of the fence (hopefully),... & also you can

claim the Doctors visit through your insurance...which may not always be

possible thru naturopaths/chiropractors etc....fwiw

Subject: I told my Doctor I'm flushing......

I visited my Doctor today and told him that I have been doing

Gallbladder Liver flushing. He looked at me as if I told him I was

from Mars. I told him I have flushed out over 1100 stones... he

chucked at me. He told me he didn't know what I was flushing but

there was no way it was gallstones. He said what I am doing is on the

same level as wearing magnets in the hopes of curing myself. I told

him I would be happy to provide him with stones for his

inspection...at first he said " Yes " and later he said he didn't want

them. I asked him for an email address where I could send information

regarding flushing. He declined....

Even though I feel he is wrong and narrow minded, he made me feel

like such an idiot. He doubted everything I told him about flushing.

I thought he would blow a gasket when I told him I was drinking Epsom

salts and water.

When we stepped out of the exam room he said very loudly for all to

hear " If you want to waste your money that's up to you.....but in my

opinion it's not going to help. "

I've had the same Doctor for over 20 years and his reaction really

hurt. I guess if we want to step outside the boundaries of drugs, and

do flushing, we are on our own. I'm surely not going to get the

approval of my Doctor.

Have any flushers here had a similar experience?

Well Mike---It's not " where you go " but what you know (and

understand)! lol ;)

I have had " alternative " (naturopaths & nutritionists) practitioners

tell me it was a waste and dangerous---Infact a few years ago when I

first started flushing I was doing a health workshop with a colleage

of mine geared towards persons suffering with chronic conditions

such as Fibromyalgia---and when I started talking about liver

flushing she freaked!!! Started " yelling " and telling everyone

how " dangerous " they are---I never got to finish my talk and

needless to say have never done another workshop with her! Ironic

thing is she is/was in desparate need of doing a liver flush herself!

Some people just don't want to listen---and that's too bad because

they only get " part " of the story--if they only knew the " full "

story---and that's why it's soooo important to " educate " yourself---

be confident in the procedure and be prepared of what to do if there

is a problem---this is why epson salts really helps---but also

preparing in advance for the flush by taking steps to either help

soften or dissolve some of the stones---And think of the alternative

(surgery?) How safe is that? In my opinion there is no such thing as

a " safe " surgery---can't see how those words can go together---lol ;)

Donna

(who is back-in-the-game with finally working up the nerve to do

another flush after a couple of years and just successfully flushed

over 200 stones--some real BIG ones!)

I was told I needed my gallbladder removed immediately as I have lots of

small stones. This even though I have never even had a gall bladder attack.

They were found when looking for something else. The surgeon I went to see

upon my regular MD's insistence even thought I do NOT want surgery. The

surgeon said to definitely NOT try one of those flushes unless I wanted to

end up having emergency surgery!! Very adamant!

So what they are saying is you have to have surgery to avoid having

surgery! Ignorant arrogance. Next thing you know these people will suggest

we create shrines in our living rooms with an 8 by 10 glossy of their lovely

faces. Please send me 100 bucks for green fees. Flabbergastedly (or is

that Gastly?) yours, -Dave

Glad to hear that. While magnets are definitely not the cure-all that

some multi-levels would like you to believe, they can be effective to some

extent. Your doctor should try reading the literature and investigating the

science on a subject before he opens his mouth. We as consumers need to

stomp on this ignorance before someone gets hurt. Best way to stomp is to

take your business and body somewhere else, when he realizes he is losing

client base he will seek more and different education to get it back. I

would love to help him at one of the colleges I teach.

Don't bother me with the facts. Or, as a colleague of an M.D. friend of

mine said to him at a conference " I don't care what the studies show, I am

not going to believe it! "

Expletives deleted.

He doubted everything I told him about flushing.

Expletives not deleted, they are foaming out of the corner of my mouth.

Please, please add your own.

And they want us to limit malpractice insurance. I think we just read the

definition of " mal " " practice " (the last one I will accept).

I hope to God not. Always, in all ways, -Dave

There had better be safety concerns, or we are fools. Does anybody have

safety concerns about having their body opened up and an organ removed? I

think from a doctor's perspective, education, and legal climate, this was a

responsible, intelligent and appropriate response by your doc. -Dave
