a. what is the difference between the role of lecithin and the role of

bile salts within the bile ?

Answer; Lecithin helps to keep the cholesterol in a suspended state with the

bile. A lack of lecithin will allow the precipitation of cholesterol from the

bile. It helps in making a much better detergent of the bile much the same as

quality detergent for washing grease latten dishes will hold the grease within

the dishwater and not allow it to precipitate on to the sides of the sink or

back onto the dishes being washed.

b. I don't digest fats, so what does one do to get healthy fats

digested and absorbed to make good cholesterol if they are not being

digested in the first place due to insufficient or not good quality bile ?

Answer; What you might try is taking a high quality vitamin E along with a

quality vitamin C. Together they work synergeticly to help with digesting fats

too.

What is meant by quality is that it will not be a synthetic product. So, in that

case you will be probably paying around 2 to 3 times as much for a bottle of

vitamins. E. A.C. Grace http://www.acgraceco.com/mainhome.html makes one that

it pure. Then there are a number of those making vitamin C, most of the time it

will be from Rose Hips. http://store.omnivit.com/00310.html

c. I understand the HDL cholesterol will transport the LDL cholesterol

and therefore is considered a good fat. Is there a difference in the

type of cholesterol and bile salts that is within bile depending on

the type of fat ingested ?

Answer; HDL or High Density Lipoprotein is a fat connected to a protein;

http://hcd2.bupa.co.uk/fact_sheets/html/cholesterol.html

http://mens-health.health-cares.net/hdl-cholesterol.php Good fats of which are

considered essential fatty acids will help with the production of HDL that will

act as transporter of the LDL cholesterol to the liver to be made into a bile

containing bile salts, cholesterol, water, lecithin, lipids and electrolytes.

As for the difference bile will have has a lot to do with the amount of LDL that

is in the system and of which is needing to be removed by having a higher

content of HDL to carry it out of the body. This is a really tricky thing to

consider. We need cholesterol, the brain is 2/3's cholesterol and it is in every

cell of the body. Then too it is needed to help with feeding the body and is

also the thing used to acquire good fats from essential fatty acids from the

foods eaten. It is only a bad thing when it like other things is too abundant

over the need level. It could be likened to a very expensive house having too

much furniture for the look. Too much and you will not have a place in which to

live comfortably. Have just the right amount and every room looks elegant and

ready to be lived in.

Oat meal is advertised as being known to help in controlling the amount of LDL

contained in the body. This is because of the speed at which it works to help

the body remove LDL cholesterol from the body. Because of oat meal being a

soluble and insoluble fiber it moves quickly through the digestive track and

will contain bile to be deposited outside the body, if processed in a timely

manner.

The speed helps in getting the bile of which contains LDL cholesterol from being

reabsorbed by the digestive track as long as there is a good amount of essential

fatty acids ready for the makeup process.
