The research on line seemed to indicate that the capsules might not be

fresh. With that in mind, I went to the health food store this weekend

to buy more flax oil, and decided to also pick up flax oil w/Fish Oil.

I did some quick reading in Dr. Perricone's book, and he recommends

Alaskan salmon (not farm bred salmon). The research on line indicated

that fish oil from Wild Alaskan Salmon with Vitamin E added was the

best. The Flax Oil I purchased was refrigerated (as they all are) and

also had the Wild Alaskan Salmon w/Vit E. Though I also bought my usual

Flax Oil and have decided to try taking 2 teaspoons of the plain flax

oil and 1 teaspoon of the flax oil with fish oil daily.

I'm thankful for all of the discussions, and have added this to my diet

also. The difference is that the capsules may not have the Vit E added

therefore you'd risk it being rancid, and it might not be wild Alaskan.

Also, the caps are more expensive. I bought both bottles because the

flax w/fish oil didn't have the same amount of EFA's as the plain flax

oil.

Namaste,
