Guest guest
>>>I think I may always have had a wheat sensitivity (not that I ever knew that could happen), but the flax really did a number on me. My gut was burning and the bloat and pain was awful. <<< Hi Joyce, After finding a holistic doc and having allergy testing done, recently, I discovered that my IBS issue was likely related to a wheat allergy to which I had a very significant reaction (I also discovered I was allergic to eggs, soy and corn). This blew me away, as I thought I was being 'good' eating all whole wheat products, like you. Since then, abstinence from wheat products and taking probiotics has helped tremendously. I don't know if I was allergic to wheat all my life, but it was certainly exacerbated as I entered midlife. Have you tried probiotics? If you do a web search on " probiotics for wheat allergy " quite a bit of info pops up. Peace, n
