Guest guest
Hi June, I think that may be my prob. I used it yesterday only as a guide. I put no pressure on it. I just had it in case I needed to balance myself. My neck yesterday thanked me and so far it is only a little stiff today. Nothing like it has been. In fact, this morning, I could actually turn my head. I'll keep on doing this. I bet I solved my pain in the neck. ~Rainy Sue In a message dated 11/7/00 1:38:28 PM Pacific Standard Time, juner24@... writes: > Hi Rainy Sue,you must have been reading my mind!!! Guest guest
Pat: These are great suggestions and information we need to know. I have Acid Reflux and sometimes it is so hard to tell if I am having a heart attack or acid attack. I think my heart is in good standing but you never know. I have also heard of so many woman and men having silent heart attacks. This is a strange phenomena to me. How can we take care of our bodies and health when it wants to be so quiet and secretive about it. It is usually the screaming pain that gets our attention or blood. The least it could do is have a little indicator or gauge to read once in awhile. LOL Jeannette
Guest guest
I have seen several posts on neck and/or shoulder pain. Recently I have had problems with both and it is miserable. In a previous lifetime, I worked in physical therapy. If you are using a cane or walker, it is imperative that it is adjusted properly. Most PT departments are great at helping people if you ask them to check your assistive device for proper fit. It is also important to remember that these devices are intended to help you with balance and support - they should not be used to lean on - that leads to shoulder and neck problems and possible hip pain as well. If you are having neck and shoulder pain, be sure to talk to your doctor about it. Women show strange symptoms with heart attacks and this type of pain is one clue that heart problems could be brewing. If you ever have symptoms along with this pain such as trouble breathing or sweating - take two aspirins and get to the emergency room. Another possible problem, and the cause of my pain, is a problem with the cervical spine. Spinal problems are another thing we are at greater risk for - compliments of RA. It is easy for us and sometimes for doctors to just assume that it is RA pain. It may be just more of the routine pain we have to deal with but we must be alert to other things that are going on as well - especially any hints of heart trouble. My doctor is cautious and does an EKG when I have any type of complaint but I would rather have him cautious. Pat At 10:26 AM 12/09/2000 -0800, you wrote: >Hi Rainy Sue,this was my experience also. Guest guest
Jeanette, Maybe there is a dipstick on humans that we just have not discovered yet. Maybe that is what the appendix was for but it shriveled up because we never used it. Now that I have proven that I am totally insane tonight - I am going to get some sleep. I wish I could share my sleep with you, I don't have any problem sleeping - I just don't usually sleep for more than about 6 hours. I have so much to do that I wake up ready to start the day before the sun is up. Good luck with your sleeping tonight. Pat
Guest guest
I have been having gallbladder discomfort for the last 6 months. Applejucie and and beta food seem to keep me sane and sober. What I am wondering about is some neck pain on the right side. Is that related to gallbladder. Send me some magical thoughts.
