Guest guest
Okay--I've gone through so many tests it ain't funny. But my mother's visiting nurse told her her husband went through the same thing I am--negative tests, elevated pancreatic lipase and pain, pain, and more pain. After my last colonoscopy I expelled very black/dark greenish gritty stuff, which I suspected was gall bladder sludge. I also went through excruciating pain for about 10 days after. My right side killed and felt badly bruised. Then for about 5 weeks I felt great with occasional stabs in a very small area mid-abdomen, 3-4 inches above my belly button. That's my pancreas. It was a delight to not have to leave my pants unbuttoned as I had had to do for the previous 1 1/2 year. Most times I sat with them unzippered, too. Good thing I don't go out much. For the past few weeks I've been back in Hell. But the pain in my right side is still greatly alleviated. It's the pain in my pancreas that kills. To get back to the beginning--my mother's VN's husband went to this doc who said there was no way he could have all these problems and elevated lipase and be okay, so he took out the man's gall bladder and it was filled with sludge and what he called micro-stones. He's fine now. Will someone here direct me to the page with directions for flushing? I know it's probably been on this list before, but I can't find it. I need to liver flush, too.
