Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am the one whose daughter has just been diagnosed w/ gallstones. (Thanks to all who have written me.) I am confused about this: if oil is constipating, why are we told to use flax oil, flax seeds and olive oil? Also, what about fish oil? Thanks, Hurt __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Healthy oil is good for us, though at first may be hard to digest, and therefore cause constipation. I found flax seed oil to give me pain in the gallbladder and indigestion. It took a lot of cleansing to get to the point where I could consume it. You can try it and see how she feels. I started eating ground flax seeds, then progressed to flax seed oil (1 Tablespoon daily) as I felt better. If your daughter truely had a gallstone stuck in a bile duct, I would think she would be in terrible pain. Most of us here have experienced it. It feels like you're dying. If she doesn't have terrible pain, then the stone is most likely in her gallbladder, and not in a duct. The epsom salts dilate the ducts which means they open up wide enough for the stones to come out by themselves by pooping them out. The ratio of epsoms to water is enough for even the most constipated person to pass stones easily. There has always been this " fear " that I've read about in many forums that people have of getting a stone stuck while doing a cleanse. I've had large stones come out easily as had many others without doing the herbs. I tried the herbs a few times and when they ran out, I didn't order them again. The apple juice worked really well, though. I can see if no epsom salts were taken with the cleanse, that would cause a problem. I didn't feel better taking the herbs; I still had indigestion, gas, insomnia and pain in the gallbladder. I hear that Chang does a good business with her herbs, though they are expensive and I didn't notice any difference after trying them. However, maybe the best thing for you to do is read over the Cure Zone's info on liver cleansing and gallstones when you get a chance. I understand you don't have the time, but it would ease your fears and increase your knowledge about all of this. Namaste,
