I would probably have an oven-roasted vegetable dish and drizzle some olive oil over to chase the garlic clove.
Guest guest
After eating my raw garlic today, I seriously almost passed out. It burns going down. Maybe I need to chew it or something to get my salivary enzymes breaking it down but it burns the inside of my mouth as well. I chased it with a tablespoon of lecithin granules. When should I expect to see the parasites? Anyone? --- Suzanne <suzanne_on_ca@...> wrote: > > this, of course is not good for people with an > irritated GB... > > I peel a clove a garlic and eat it with a chunk of > cheese. I had this problem too the first few times I took it. I had to take it and then sit down for half an hour. But by the third or fourth day I could take it and keep standing up preparing the meal. Now I can take it any time and it's no problem. Persist. Start with smaller cloves. It's doing you good and no harm. Tina __________________________________ Celebrate 's 10th Birthday! Guest guest
I use a good quality garlic press and press the cloves into a small glass of juice. They are pretty small, there is not much chance of choking on them. It seems to work pretty well. I'm wondering though, if the juice would dilute and lessen the anti-parasitic action of the garlic. Guest guest
the use of garlic for parasites is questionable - hot peppers is also something to use because the parasites supposedly do not like it either - the use of garlic as a parasite removal tool is not fully supported by literature on its own - theoretically speaking there should be no parasites in Italy, but alas there are, it can not hurt, and I personally think garlic is a slight aphrodisiac...so enjoy & Carpa Diem. --- Tony Kessler <tcjak86@...> wrote: > I use a good quality garlic press and press the > cloves into a small glass of juice. Guest guest
cloves kill the parasites eggs so I think I'll eat a couple a day as well. --- Jay Grosflam <jgrosflam@...> wrote: > the use of garlic for parasites is questionable - > hot > peppers is also something to use because the > parasites > supposedly do not like it either - the use of garlic > as a parasite removal tool is not fully supported by > literature on its own - theoretically speaking there > should be no parasites in Italy, but alas there are, > it can not hurt, and I personally think garlic is a > slight aphrodisiac...so enjoy & Carpa Diem. > --- Tony Kessler <tcjak86@...> wrote: > > I use a good quality garlic press and press the > > cloves into a small glass of juice. Guest guest
Greetings I have not had the garlic become less in juices, you just have to drink it within a few minutes no more then 1/2 hour or so. nieema --- Tony Kessler <tcjak86@...> wrote: > I use a good quality garlic press and press the > cloves into a small glass of juice. Guest guest
Try juicing the garlic clove along with 1/2 of an apple, it tastes better and doesn't burn.
