Guest guest
>>>IN SUMMARY, your biggest risk of being in the hospital is being killed by " modern medicine " . Most TRUE THERAPY is illegal or against hospital policy.<<< Hi All, Will - I always enjoy your informed, interesting missives. Thanks for taking time out to share your holistic wisdom. For anyone who wants to take grassroots, proactive action with regard to reforming healthcare, there is a way you can lend your support. A campaign is underway to create a new Department of Peace, headed up by Dennis Kucinich and nne on and supported by the likes of Patch and Barbara Marx Hubbard. These enlightened visionaries are on the forefront of heralding in a new era of healing for the US and the world and will be reintroducing a bill to congress on Sept 12th to this effect. It's your turn to " Be the change " (Gandhi) you want to see in the world. Log on and add your name to be a supporter of this amazing new bill and movement. http://www.thepeacealliance.org/ Although this new department is not specifically aimed at reforming US healthcare per say, certain core issues would inevitably be addressed, raising governmental consciousness where human rights issues in healthcare are concerned. Anyone who reads the news has seen that the American health system is increasingly " at war " with its clients, many turning their back on conventional medicine, because of the kinds of things that Will has mentioned. In the name of big bucks and saving it's own skin from an increasingly litigative society, the medical community has largely written-off the Hippocratic oath to " Do no harm " . Last week in the news, the parents of a child with cancer refused yet another round of chemo for their child, having been told that it would be of no verifiable benefit to her, but must be tried (another medical guinea pig). Not wanting to create more suffering for their child and due to their refusal of treatment (not to mention the child's), she was removed from their care and placed in the hands of the state, the doctors citing " neglect and abuse " . Medical ethics questions like these could be broached by a new Department of Peace, making a return to a conscious government and legislation led " by the people and of the people " . While it's not the whole answer to the current medical blight, it's certainly a very healthy start. I'm not a US citizen, but gratefully reside and work here and see tremendous value in the world's strongest nation leading the way in raising consciousness in these matters and more, peacefully and compassionately. No one feels powerless when taking affirmative, healing action, as Will has so beautifully covered in all his recommendations. " Be the change " you want to see in the world (and in your own health).
