Guest guest
HI there, Oh Yes, the genetic factor. It's making more sense then ever. Is it possible certain people hold certain minerals better? I'm looking back at the women in my family and it's seeming that we tend to hold calcium in our bodies better. It could be possible that magnesium levels have always been low in my body. My diet growing up until age 12, we had an almond tree in our backyard so I ate the fruit on the outside and would crush the shell and eat the almond on the inside. Eating lots of almonds a day was normal for me and I was chronically constipated as a child. That could have been due to low magnesium levels in my body because I got plenty of fiber, I think. We rarely ate refined foods. This is like playing scientist. Not to mention the fact that I was only breast-fed for 3 months and I think that caused my digestive system not to be fully and completely developed. I was the very first person from my long line of ancestors to drink formula, I spoke to my mother and grilled her for this information and she says from the time she started giving me the formula, I began to be constipated. She didn't think it was serious and dealt with it on a regular basis. Now I'll have to interview my grandmother about her diet and lifestyle when she was young. --- __________________________________________________
