HI Tina,

funny thing the olive oil is the easy part for me.

It's the Epsom salt I have a challenging time with.

Anyhow, I woke up at 4 a.m and just couldn't sleep.

I layed in bed until 5 a.m when I got " the urge "

No stones in my stools but I expected that.

I felt extremely nauseated and lightheaded, couldn't

keep my balance and then again I threw up the olive

oil and lemon juice and could taste the bitterness of

Epsom salt.

This is the second time.

Why do I keep throwing up my cleanse?

Went back to bed, woke up 11 minutes ago.

I took my third dose of Epsom salt at 8 now it's 8:11

I have mini discomfort in gallbladder area as well.

I'm thinking no olive oil next time because the last

time I used grapefruit and I threw up as well.

Still managed to past 4 stones later in the day the

first time.

I had a really hard time with olive oil last time.

Someone suggested using grapeseed oil. I have a bottle

in the cupboard now, I just lack the courage to do

another flush right now.

Actually I'm using some of Chang's herbs and am

having good results.

And of course I had a good result with a box of

chocolates yesterday. I'm thinking that may be the way

to go <G>

I am the last person here who should give anyone advice so I will

just mention a few of my obsevations.

I did read that one needs a parasite cleanse before the gb cleanse and also

noted on curezone that they have instructions to build a Zapper which kills

parasites. It would be nice to be able to afford to buy the thing and also

to afford to herbs necessary to do the parasite cleases but cant do that due

to limited income. However my flushes have been similar to yours and I tend

to really dread them even though I dont use the epsom salts (Use another

form of magnesium).(I HATE vomiting!)

So I am going to build one of these things and see what I can do to improve

my cleanses.

Sorry you are having these problems but you are not alone. Hang in there

dear!

Neysa,

Do you vomit even though you don't use Epsom salt?

I hate vomiting as well.

Actually I hate feeling nauseated, the nausea right

before the vomiting is the worst part.

i did past 8 small green stones few minutes ago.

I took my last dose of Epsom salt.

I'm sure there may be more stones later.

Normally I'm sure about what to do and I research like

a mad woman for just about anything but this flush has

been my challenge.

I'm goinig to do the parasite cleanse I guess.

Take some nix vomica homeopathic when nauseated. It works wonders. I use 30 C

and I get the ones in the blue tube (Boiron) for about $5.

Should certainly be fine to take during a flush although the nausea I have

found is the liver dumping toxins and a coffee enema is probably the way to go

to deal with both nausea and toxin elimination.

Best wishes, (Atlanta)

Another remedy you might consider is the " Digestive Tonic " sold at H.E.A.L.

Marketplace. It is based on Dr. Schulze's digestive tonic. I have used both and

I found the tonic at HEAL to be more effective and much cheaper. Even better, I

bought the herb kit from Dara at HEAL and made my own batch. It was the best of

all! And even cheaper yet. The product works great for nausea, indigestion,

heartburn or other such problems. It can do anything the antacids can do and do

it safely without the side effects. And it works very quickly.

When I did my 7-8 flushes, my nausea, when I had it, was generally mild enough

that I could just tough it out. But I remember at least once when the nausea was

pretty bad. I think the olive oil I used was too old and possibly rancid (I

always used fairly fresh oil after that). I knew positively that I was going to

throw it all up. Then I took a dose of the Digestive Tonic and laid down on the

couch for a bit and went right to sleep. Woke up a bit later and went to bed and

slept fairly well but in the early morning I was sick again. This time I just

let everything come up as I figured there must be something wrong and it was

best to get the concoction out of my stomach. The next flush I did went okay, I

did not get sick with it.

What I have done on my last 2 flushes..(because I also have trouble facing my

current 250 ml of Olive Oil /250 ml lemon juice).. ..was too sqeeze the lemons &

collect the lemon juice ...put the juice in my Vitamix blender with heaps of raw

Ginger .. ..2- 3 raw cloves garlic & some celtic salt 1/3-1/2 teaspoon..( & a

1/2 teaspoon of guar gum so that it all mixes well)... & it just tastes a bit

more palatable ...the raw ginger & a bit of celtic salt in particular helps ,

although all 3 go well together imo.

The Olive oil mixture is still extremely thick & slimly & olive-oily but i

find this mix easier too take ..

I alslo psyche myself now while I am preparing the mix, ...something along

the lines of i keep reminding myself how much healthier the mix will make me in

the long run & how my body (which I am talking too) will be very thankfull for

this added benifit with time etc & how my courage in drinking ( & enjoying )this

healthy elixir will be a big benifit too me later in life , & that my body will

enjoy the experience & so on & will thank me ..(whatever works for you)..

.....then I scull it ...believe it or not ..it goes down easier this way for me.

After 5 flushes (2 which were 500 ml of Olive oil & 500 ml of lemon juice & 2

flushes of 250 ml/250 ml)...I have never vomited & only felt slightly nauseous

on my first flush because I did the flush mid morning & had dinner that night

(bad move eating too early after a large flush earlier in day)

The mind is very powerful...why not use it too your advantage.

Nausea...I thought it was the Epsom salt.

My olive oil is Bariani, it's stone crushed cold

pressed and organic.

http://www.barianioliveoil.com/

It's the best olive oil on the market, the date the

olives are harvested is on the bottle.

I'm going to do it with flax seed oil the next time.

I'll wait 40 days.

I got out over 100 little tiny stones a few of them

were the size of a couple of almonds.

I feel excellent.

I'm going to eat better this month.

Exercise more, drink more water and all of that good

stuff, I kind of fell off the wagon and have been

eating hamburgers.

The grammy's and the s here in L.A had me

partying a little hard.

Back to health.

Thanks ,

I'll try it.

Believe it or not I have no problem downing the olive

oil and lemon juice, I just shake it up and down it. I

grew up drinking worst than that.

My problem is the nausea I get when I wake up in the

middle of the night. Usually about 4 a.m after

drinking my cleanse when I'm supposed to be asleep,

and my other problem is drinking that Epsom salt.

I'm shivering just thinking about it.

The Epsom salt is the problem for me not the olive

oil.

As far as the ginger, a couple of weeks before my very

first gallstone attack I started doing ginger shots

and later on I found out that ginger causes the liver

to release small stones into the gallbladder.

which is probably how one of my stones got stuck which

is the feeling I had.

Now I eat a slice or two of ginger before heavy meals,

I used to be religious about it but lately I've been

careless, but I would never dare juice it again, it's

too much too soon and although it has amazing

benefits, (can cure arthritis) it needs to be

introduced gradually to the body.

I " m thinking A thin slice of ginger before meals about

a month prior to the flush would probably be a slow

easy introduction of such a strong herb to the body.

I'm very excited about my next cleanse now.

I'll be trying that garlic clove a day thing for

parasites and a slice of ginger before dinner and then

I'll mix it all in my blend like you suggest.

Thanks so much!!!

I go through half too roughly 1/2 kg of raw ginger a week..i have no problem

with it ..general sort of recipe mixed with a small amount of veg(raw or cooked)

& good fat of some kind (soaked nuts, raw coconut, raw kefir , raw marinated liver

...whatever) & herbs ,mix to a paste consistency in Vitamix blender... & use as

sort of dressing on other chopped raw or cooked vegetables etc.

I also use lots of raw ginger in morn with whole scrubbed lemons & whole

flaxseeds (soaked overnight)..all blended up..pectin etc & fiber from lemons &

flaxseed absorbs any of the burning taste some people associate with raw ginger

& raw garlic ..so the end taste is always good ..no burning at all...because

there is lots of fiber in the vegetable mixes also ..its same deal..although I

dont put as much raw ginger in these ..fwiw ..i never get a burning after taste

using raw ginger in this way

Ginger is very good for nausea .. & it is included in many OTC car/sea sickness

etc preperations from pharmacies

HI ,

Yes, I agree with everything you said.

Ginger is fantastic for many reasons, I just wanted to

let everyone know that ginger does stimulate the liver

to release gallstone and too much too soon can do more

harm than good.

I also wanted to emphasize starting out with small

doses and gradually increasing would be ideal.

That's been my experience but everyone's body is

different, just a precautionary measure.

Thanks susan,

I'm gonna do ginger next time instead and

maybe the coffee enema.

I had a colonic before my first cleanse and one right

after but this particular cleanse, no colonic.

I'm also going to try the garlic parasite cleanse.

Don't forget to tell us how you get on.

,

I'm sure your olive oil is fine. I wasn't exactly trying to say it was the cause

of your nausea, simply that one time I had really bad nausea because I had

ingested some bad oil, and that the Digestive Tonic knocked it out quite

quickly. The tonic by the way, consists of ginger root, fennel seed, Peppermint

leaf and Peppermint Essential oil.

I'll try Bariani oil, I wonder if we can get it out here in fly-over country.

I'm still mourning the fact that I can't get the Romulo (I think that was the

name) olive oil that I used with my first flush. I ordered it a couple years ago

from our organic food co-op, then they stopped carrying it. The only place I can

find it is on the internet in gallon cans or something. I think it would cost us

a month's wages. :-) It comes from Spain and was by far the best tasting olive

oil I've ever had.

Congratulations on your successful flush!

Colleen
