I'd love it if everyone could share their favorite cleanse recipes with all

the newbies like me.

Thanks,

Margo,

I suggest you do liver cleanses which will clear out the gallstones.

Hi Carol,

Just a quick question...I had read somewhere here on site that it's usually

the relatively smaller stones that get stuck in the ducts and the larger,

congealed ones that tend to remain 'quiet' in the GB (unless it's inflamed or

overloaded)?

My Mum (now in her late 70s) was diagnosed with one almost the size of a ping

pong ball when she was in her mid-60s and never had it removed, as it has

remained 'silent'. I'm sure she must be very fortunate not to have had any

problem with it, but it's hard to imagine one that size getting lodged in a

duct.

Although, if it got too big, maybe it could ultimately block the opening of the

GB duct or cause a very sluggish GB.

So, if " size " is relative in terms of the " getting stuck " , I just wonder how

large a stone could get and still be of the more mobile variety that could

travel into a duct?

I'd greatly appreciate your insight on this. Thanks.

Peace, n

Needlesstosay, people with know huge gall stones have to be careful

since those are the nasty ones that can get stuck in the tubes and

necsitate an operation. Best to read carefully about options on links

below and elsewhere and work to shrink them down with various remedies

before trying anything too stressful on the body.

I'm no expert, but I think critical size depends a lot on the individual

(six and flexibility of tubes) and what they are doing to relax tubes

when flushing. The fact that big ones run in family and stay in gall

bladder a useful indicator :-) But others are more expert!
