My vote is that it was the chemicals. I had a similiar reaction to a bite of homemade cheesecake -- a violent reaction that took 45 minutes to quiet down. The amount of chemicals in processed dairy is unbelievable. Unless you have access to raw milk and cheese (and then only after you are no longer acute), I would skip it entirely. Fat is not bad for you, in general. Its the crap-fat that is found in most proccessed foods that cause the problems. Have you considered apples -- they have fiber so your blood sugar will stay stable and they are good for your gallbladder and colon. Good luck, (Atlanta)

If you feel lucky, give it a try, but I would skip it personally.

The cheese had 6 gram of fat Hi , People with gallstones have a problem metabolizing fat in general. This is because in most cases the body is not able to produce enough lipase, the fat enzyme. When foods are cooked or pasterized it loses its enzymes. Raw dairy still contains its enzymes, and some people are able to include it in their diets. Personally I find that I can't have " cottage cheese " , but do well with " no fat " yogurt and flaxseed oil added. Donna
Guest guest
They gave me Pancrilipase because I have indigestion from hell. Will this clear up once I get the stones out. I don't want to keep taking this. Its only $18 a month but I don't like to take anything long term that I don't have to. If I'm lucky its not stones but just sludge. What about Organic dairy, like from organically fed cows, is there such a thing. - -- In gallstones , " Donna DM " <ddm_rhn@h...> wrote: > > > > > > > Well my question is...was it the fat in the cheese that causes the > > reaction or is it dairy in general. Guest guest
Hi , Yes, organic dairy from free range, organic grain feed cows. If you are lucky you might find a farmer that will sell raw milk, and cheese to you---not sure if you can find such items in your stores--- difficult to find in stores in Canada--Otherwise, if you want to speed up the healing process, you may want to consider an alternative for dairy---sesame seeds and tahini can be used to make vegan milk and cheese---and have a better calcium/magnesium ratio--- Donna > > They gave me Pancrilipase because I have indigestion from hell. Will > this clear up once I get the stones out. Or Have you tried following a raw food cleansing diet? Just some suggestions---
Guest guest
I had my first attack after eating a big carton of organic whole milk yogurt so amount still matters, whatever you do. Also, almond breeze almond milk is a great substitute for milk for cereal, drinking and teas. Carol Donna DM wrote: > > Hi , > > Yes, organic dairy from free range, organic grain feed cows.
