Does just Epsom salts bring on relief without doing a cleanse, just curious?

I had a question about this. I know that the epsom salt works on

relaxing the Gallbladder because of the magnesium in it. But Milk of

Magnesia is high in magnesium...but a different type from Epsom salt.

Has anyone ever tried this for some relief...and does it work. Always

interested in your input.
