This sounds like a badly backed up eliminations system. When your skin must

step in to excrete it means to me 1) Bowel overloaded....get it open asap, this

have been a critical component of any GB attacks I have had..constipation.

2) Not drinking enough water (see denise's post on this matter)

3) generally toxic -- get your diet better and get some exercise to sweat

some of this out rather than creating toxic little eruptions...

Hi Carol,

-56 year old female definately is in change of life - or past it.

These hormonal changes aggravate gallbladder - why - I guess the

imbalances cause our body to be less resiliant.

-Bacon and yoghurt - the fats are very good stimulants to GB attack.

-yes, middle of the night or just before you go to bed is a common

time for your digestion to be working hard and therefore your GB may

flare up.

-Losing weight quickly puts strain on liver due to the loss of excess

fat. Fat is where your body stores toxins. When losing weight

quickly, the liver is supposed to cleanse the toxins from the

bloodstream, but due to the excess toxins, it becomes very overworked.

-Bentyl is a prescription and is the drug of choice for severe GB

attacks in Emerg.

-Some memebers have suggested to massage in a palpitating fashion to

help relieve the pain from the passing of stones.

-Yes, avoid all bile stimulants until the GB calms down, although

juices may be introduced sooner and in small quantities. Lemon in

warm water 1st thing in AM before eating is said to soften the stones.

-Onions and garlic - gas formers, maybe a bloated stomach is more

painful.....?

-liquor does not kill pain of GB, but it severely taxes the liver.

Try to get your liver as healthy as quickly as possible to remedy a

bad GB/liver situation. Liver health leads to Gallbladder health.

-BIG FLush - it didn't hurt me, gave me lots of energy and helped me.

I'm sure other members have more comments.

-Epsom salts relax smooth muscle tissue which eases passage of stones

through ducts and also relaxes many other muscles. It's good to take

a Calcium supplement with magnesium just prior to bedtime for a good

sleep.

-pimples may be an indication of toxins trying to escape from the

body. Your body is trying to cleanse itself. Certain types of

massages and steam baths may asstst this cleansing process that your

body is trying to do.

-psychological - stress causes muscles to tense and may therefore

aggravate the GB problem.

I hope that this has given you a few answers.....
