I took them and know they bring relief, that is for sure. but, and this is my big problem with products like enzymes and probiotics, they are crutches, they will not allow the body to heal. you must keep taking them unless you find a way to wean yourself and change the factors that got you in trouble in the first place. g

That's not entirely true. I did liver cleanses years ago and I'm sure they were good for me but they didn't alleviate my symptoms. If someone has developed encopresis :http://www.enzymestuff.com/rtencopresis.htm then 10-14 days of colloidal silver, oil of oregano, etc. would be needed to wipe out the bacteria. I've read the message boards to s and not everybody has success doing liver cleanses for alleviating their symptoms. If someone doesn't change their diet I would assume that they'd have to keep cleansing their liver so it would seem that everything must be repeated unless one maintains a meticulous diet. I think enzymes on an empty stomach (in strong enough form) is supposed to cleanse the organs and circulatory system and break down stones although it would be a longer process. I've known families that chelated to remove mercury and they are off all supplements, enzymes, etc. eating a standard diet. See danasview.com Families using Houston enzymes have been able to heal their guts and slowly cut down on their enzyme intake. Dr. Houston is an enzymologist and has formulated a DPP-IV enzyme that will break down proteins in wheat, dairy, soy that other enzymes cannot. s' book has helped many people but no "one" protocal will help everybody or there would be no need for any of these news groups for discussion and I _do_ understand what you are saying in that the root issue of most digestive complaints is not in treating candida, etc.

Chocolate and nuts are both high in fat. I think

that's why chocolate is causing your mini-attacks(it's

the fat content). Or at least it would for me if I

ate quite a bit of chocolate.

Hi ,

It's true but the funny thing is I can eat animal fat

like lots of cheese and I mean lots of it and no

problem.

But I have been getting quality animal fats like raw

goat cheese, or raw goat milk etc.

that doesn't cause attacks but of course I usually

have my high animal fat meals with a glass of wine and

I truly believe that prevents attacks.

Nuts on the other hand, something different.

Then again I do tend to eat them raw.

I will try soaking them like I'm supposed to do.

All raw nuts must be soaked and I'll see if I notice

any difference.

I haven't had a problem with cheese either.

For me it's things like two heavy meals in a row, or if I've been eating out

quite a bit the past day or so.

Even too many chocolate chip cookies will cause it.

I'm definitely one of those in the " drink water " camp. I was a skeptic for

years, but for me, it's made all the difference when things have started to hurt

after eating a lot of the items above.
