Guest guest
Ahhh--good info. I do eat a soy/wheat pasta, but do you know anything about Vita Spelt pasta? It's supposed to be a more digestible grain with a more complete protein for those who don't eat meat. Thank you for the info on rice! I never knew it should be soaked or that it can go rancid. Guess I'll throw out what I have. My liver values always come out great. Had a read of fatty liver through a cat scan though. Figure it might alleviate a bit through better diet. I'm not always faithful. I still have a terrible time forcing them raw veggies down. If I could afford going to a salad bar every day, I'd be golden. ) I just hate preparing them and then taking the time to eat them. I need to be someplace dedicated to eating to keep me sitting long enough to finish them. People with a challenged liver/gallbladder should avoid wheat altogether. Consider substituting your pasta for brown rice, organic of course soaked for 22 hours prior to cooking to release up to 10 times the amount of nutrients. Keep in mind that Brown rice should also be kept refrigerated since it contains oils that can go rancid. Brown rice contains fiber and several other nutrients that help combat gallstones.
