Guest guest
Dear Dee: Different acupuncturists put needles different places BUT in general they will prob put a few needles on the GB meridian which runs from the face at the ear to the 4th toe on each foot. The ends of the meridian have the most stregnth to open up the blocked energy channels. Also other meridians have " WOOD " points which will tie directly to the Liver and GB, the " Wood " elements. That being said (confused yet?) I have generally had needles stuck in my leg, foot, face, ear, hand or back (not all at the same time). I have never had needles on my front body that I can remember. I had needles all over a shoulder once when I was having a time with shoulder pain, but that is as close to " local to the pain " I have ever experienced. I think you could specify, were the practitioner to suggest the GB organ, that you preferred another approach, ie foot and hands. The acupuncture point I have been taught to use for acupuncture to " open " the GB organ is GB 34 (might have that number wrong) which is on your calf below the knee on the outer side. Poke around and see if you find a sore spot. Another potent spot is a place called 3 Yin crossing where the Kidney, Spleen (pancreas) and Liver meridians intersect. It is on the inside of the leg, 4 finger widths above the ankle bone (ie, put your little finger on the ankle and wrap the rest of your hand around your leg and by the index finger is about the spot on most people). Poke around there. On most people with impaired liver function it is very painful. Slowly work it over a period of days, for a few minutes each morning and night and you can effect great change to your health and vitality. Hope this helps. I'm very squemish about needles....and have scar tissue from a C-Section when I had my twins. So I'm not sure I would want any needles in my stomach. thanks, Dee Learn more from our experience, over 7.000 liver flush stories: http://curezone.com/forums/fd50.asp?f=4 http://curezone.com/forums/fd50.asp?f=80 http://curezone.com/forums/fd50.asp?f=100 http://curezone.com/forums/fd50.asp?f=112 Liver Cleanse Recipe: http://CureZone.com/cleanse/liver/ Liver Flush FAQ: http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=73 Images: http://CureZone.com/image_gallery/cleanse_flush/ http://CureZone.com/image_gallery/intrahepatic_stones/ To unsubscribe, send blank e-mail to: gallstones-unsubscribe and then reply to confirmation message! Guest guest
I was trying to say in not so clear terms is that all areas, no matter what has been done should be ok to be used in accupuncture. --- " ladybug35@... Guest guest
My doctor put needles in my left calf (which didn't hurt) and then into my gallbladder which really hurt as she moved them a bit to stimulate the area. I didn't notice anything different though afterwards. Namaste,

I would suggest you start with 5 minutes or so at least twice a day -- getting up, going to bed. Got more time...in traffic, etc. Do it more. I would not stimulate it more than 20-30 minutes TOTAL a day -- but we all know my bias is that gently and slowly is better. Give it a start and let us hear how much improvement you notice.
