Guest guest Posted May 14, 2005 Report Share Posted May 14, 2005 I read Bragg's book on fasting and was highly inspired. He has a system where he only eats 12 meals a week. He doesn't eat breakfast, eats two meals a day and fasts one day a week. So I thought I'd try it. I found that having missed breakfast I didn't want much for lunch, so I was having half of what I usually had for lunch followed by a pretty normal (or slightly smaller) evening meal. I was actually pleasantly surprised, but after 10 days of doing this I lost 5 pounds in weight. I planned to follow the Bragg Diet just to continue my quest towards becoming healthier. I didn't actually plan to lose the weight. I know 5 pounds isn't much, but my weight has been stable for the last 4 years, so it was a nice surprise that it had gone down.
