I am going to let Dave answer but IMHO all the treatments you outlined really revolve around the following: our bodies when working well clean themselves daily. The bile flows(2), stones pass(1,2) as chaff if they have formed (but mostly they do not form if the bile flows), the bile keeps the fat nicely emulsified (3), we do not as a consequence have any stuck places so no infection (4), and a flush is not necessary(5). Our bodies just handle it naturally. Unfortunately, as we become more toxic (many roads lead to this -- hormones, poor diet, alcohol, drugs, dehydration, mineral imbalances, lack of exercise, stress, etc) our body breaks down and loses the ability to clean itself so we have to consciously take up the slack while we heal the broken places enough to let the body relearn its orginally knowing. Finishing off my bottle of Cal/Mag with 400 mg of Mag each tablet but not sure if it's cause of some diahrreha. ALSO: Still trying to get into the ying yang of the treatment.... something like.. 1) relaxing the muscles so they don't cramp down on stones - magnesium, chamomille tea, belladona 2) thinning the bile and hopefully breaking up the stones?? malic acid, lemon juice, dandelion, yellow dock, milk thistle, peppermint oil, beets, greens, radishes, etc. 3) Lecithin to help emulisify fat without having an attack (unless doing 5?) 4) Vitamins, flaxseed oil to support immune system vs. infection 5) expelling stones -- olive oil or flaxseed oil (combined with lemon) - when you have the nerve to do it. Doing a little bit of everything above, but not too much... > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: " Dave Shelden " <wholehealthawareness@...> > <gallstones > > Sent: Friday, February 25, 2005 12:59 PM > Subject: Re: epsom salt > > > > > > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: " Sharyn " <snowsha@...> > > <gallstones > > > Sent: Thursday, February 24, 2005 5:12 PM > > Subject: Re: epsom salt > > > > > > > > > > i'm fairly new around here Dave what do you do w/the epsom salt and a > > > cleanse? > > > > > > sharyn > > > > Hi Sharyn, > > > > The epsom salts is a cheap but effective source of magnesium. > > Magnesium is relaxing to smooth muscle. Guest guest
Carol, Can you explain why step 3 unless doing step 5? Are you suggesting we shouldn't take lecithin while expelling stones or we shouldn't take lecithin while taking olive oil or flaxseed oil or did I totally misunderstand? Guest guest
I had a question mark on 3 because wondered if in 5 you are using fat to stimulate gall bladder to expell stones, so you would not want to use lecithin to break up fat before it got to lower intenstine. But that's a question, not a statement. CM

Assume Chelated magnesium will not have the > same effect? Finishing off my bottle of Cal/Mag with 400 mg of Mag each Chelated Magnesium will do the same thing. However, while magnesium will bring water into the bowel, calcium will draw it out (constipating). So when we use a cal/mag supplement we negate this particular effect (fantastic for other uses).
