Many prefer using fresh Grapefruit Juice - I like red or pink - as the flavor is much better when mixed with the epsom salts and olive oil. Must be fresh squeezed to mix well with the olive oil. It still isn't a tastes treat, but it is much better than the alternative. Each has a different benefit nutritionally, the lemon juice is helpful in cleansing both the liver and kidneys, but you can drink fresh squeezed lemon in water any day. If you are taking a medication that says you shouldn't eat grapefruit, like lipitor and similar drugs, just stop the medication for the day. It won't harm you to take it, but the grapefruit renders it useless, and why waste one of those overpriced drugs? In time if you work on your body nutritionally, you may not need them. There are natural alternatives as well. http://nutritionist.bravehost.com/gallbladder.html ===== L.
