Guest guest
Greetings It is said that a sweet smell in the urine is from diabetes. I have diabetes type 2 and that happened to me alot when I am out of balance with my sugars. It does not happen too often now but when I was a new to diabetes it was an everyday thing. If you are in doubt, get go to the Dr. and get a blood test and you can see from that how it is. If it is diabetes, it is not a death sentence, being on this group and working on your health is the best place to be and it will give you a great start in the right direction if it is diabetes. Let me know if you find that it is, there are some wonderful groups that know a ton of information, but do not leave this group. I am a firm believer that we as humanoids are not just a condition or a body part, all things that are wrong and all things that are good with our bodies are connected. The liver and gallstone problem once fixed have been a great help to my diabetes, it gives the body one less problem to work on. I hope for the best for you. yours in good health nieema --- denise milfort <mllebondgirl007@...> wrote: > hi all, > Does anyone on here know anything about > flatulence smelling like maple syrup or the urine > smelling like maple syrup. > Especially when heavy sweets are consumed. > What is that and what does it mean? > How to fix it? >
Guest guest
One last thing!!! Drink your water!!! Flushing with the water is a big help!!! Also, it might be a concentration of the sweets too. If you eat too much at one time the smell comes that way too. I just was think about our son and he never can figure out how I know he has been eating lots of sweets!! :) LOL I will tell him when he has children of his own!!! Hope that helps!!! yours in good health nieema
