That is why it makes you nauseated, stimulates the release of bile by the liver. I know of people passing out on 16 ounces of straight beet juice. Start low (1/4 of a beet) and work your way up. Dilute with carrot, celery apple, etc. -Dave __________________________________________________

I eat it cooked mostly and very rarely juice it. I did almost pass out that's why I had to lie down. I'm not the passing out type either, so I was shocked. I juice kale now and celery. I juice no fruits just greens and I like it. I dilute all the strong green leaves with either celery or cucumber. I don't juice apples or any other sweet fruit, too much sugar too fast but I eat them. --- Dave Shelden <wholehealthawareness@...> wrote: > > > Interesting > beet juice makes me very nauseated. > I juiced 1 beet in my juicer one day, I was so > nauseated I laid in bed for hours. > > now I only can juice one quater of a beet (a small > sized one at that > I know they're good for you but anyone on here > have a > juicer, juiced beets and felt nauseated? > > beets are probably one of if not the most > powerfull liver detoxifier available. Guest guest
My doctor buddy told me juice because of the sugar content makes you sick to your stomach because your pancreas now has to work--it's like a insulin rush--but the pain comes from the pancreas having to work harder--that too can be involved with gallbladder problems. I felt this way when I drank the raw apple juice--fyi > > > Here's more from Dr. Mercola. He says that whole > > beets and taurine > > can thin bile like a paint thinner thins paint.
