Guest guest
Hi Tina, About the all fruit diet before the flush, I've always felt very uneasy about this suggestion. As fasting leads to gallstones. People can develop gallstones if they fast or don't eat meals regularly. The gallbladder needs to empty out it's contents regularly and does so when we eat fats. when it doesn't empty out it's contents on a regular enough basis, it can lead to gallstones I agree with fasting before 2 p.m the day of the flush and increasing apples for malic acid or even taking malic acid suplements days prior to the flush, But fasting for days when one has gallstones, from experience I have to say this is a bad suggestion or recommendation. reconsider this. Too much sugar leads to gallstones and fasting leads to gallstones. You can see an all fruit fast, double jeopardy. This is the reason I believe I gotgallbladder issues in the first place if you read the archives. I was on a vegan diet prior to gallstones and looked perfectly healthy and have been a health nut all my life except for my sugar indulgences and my reading too much and deciding to fast for no reason other than to be perfectly healthy. The gallbladder needs to empty out it's contents regularly and fasting I doubt is a good idea for people who have gallstones. I know many people believe so much in fasting. and some will disagree with me but weigh what we say and decide for yourself what makes the most sense But it's no coincidence that my aunt who fasts for religious reasons and myself " looking for perfection' The only people in my family to develop gallstones. We are both also very thin. Just thought you should consider it. --- tina83862 <tina83862@...> wrote: > " It is recommended to have an ultrasound of the gall > bladder before > undertaking the flush to make sure. So we have two oposite body types that develop the " same " symptoms. The cause and therefore the " cure " being very different. For you and your aunt, moistening and getting more oils through to dilute and thin is very important (you will also tend to hardening of the arteries and other " dry " conditions). Fasting or " detox " may exacebate your conditions, and while very good for most, may be contra to your goals.
Guest guest
sorry need to explain no fruit fasting just added a lot to my diet and drank the one quart of raw apple each day--which was around 4 bags of apples in three days prior to the fast---I did eat oatmeal, some pasta, little chicken---some fish--but not a lot of food--very little. > > > " It is recommended to have an ultrasound of the gall > > bladder before > > undertaking the flush to make sure. Guest guest
I recently read on a Lindora diet website that dieting creates gallstones, and from experience, I believe so- guess fasting is a form of dieting as well...I never fasted before the flush, just ate healthy and very light, small meals or healthy snacks...and the day of the flush, ate lean, but always ate grains and stuff... denise milfort <mllebondgirl007@...> wrote:Hi Tina, About the all fruit diet before the flush, I've always felt very uneasy about this suggestion. Guest guest
I had to get out some stones so my gallbadder could work--it was too filled up I am pretty sure because after two fasts the pain is greatly reduced. so now I am watching my diet with less fat--less protein and more fruit--and yes I did adkins many times and always put it back on-- lose 10 to 15 here and there go from a size 10 to 14 the majority of my life--- I am sure all this does damage over the years. I was not a drastic dieter though--just for events. Most of my life I've been one size and not considered overweight-- I am surprised I have gallstones---hardly eat junk---almost no sugar-- I am really a big health nut. So this was a surprise. Could of been too much adkins??? Anyway it's good to hear from everyone--thanks for all the advice!!!!!!! tina > > > " It is recommended to have an ultrasound of the gall > > bladder before > > undertaking the flush to make sure.
