Guest guest
Mark, I know you love caffeine, however, it is very hard on people with weakened GBs and pancreases. I do drink some coffee now, actually I did when I still had my GB too when I wasn't ill. But I wouldn't start out the morning that way. After I woke up and according to Dr. Cabot's book, I drank some lemon water first thing every morning. It starts your digestion to flowing. I happen to think a little coffee for people is just fine, but I'm sure nobody else will agree with me. Well, I believe in moderations in things, that the truth! So while you're sick though, I would hold off until you're stronger. That's just my two cents' worth. Susie
Guest guest
So, I set myself back at least 4 or 5 days yesterday. Today's been a bad day. I got too excited yesterday because I felt so much better. I over-ate, pushed too far\fast on my walk, drank some caffeine, etc. ... basically, tried to act like I'm a well person when it was only one week ago today that I signed " AMA " forms to check myself out of a hospital with acute pancreatitis. Please don't think my silence means I don't appreciate everything. Mark
