Guest guest
Hi all- Just a quick update on the JA conference.... They have some preliminary information on the AF web page: http://www.arthritis.org/ja-conference.php Registration does not open until February - However, you can get details on the hotel costs, registration costs, local transportation etc. There is also a preliminary agenda..... We're still pinning down a few of the speakers, so some of the topics may change - but for the most part, I think it's accurate. I mentioned before that some of the special " extras " aren't listed on the agenda yet, until we get all of the funding finalized. I'll just say that we are doing our very best to include as much fun (and breakfasts) as possible. I should be able to post more next month....It's been a real learning experience. Our local chapter is responsible for raising the money for so mucgh of what we want to see at the conference.... National pays for a bunch, but we want to do more We're starting to get busier with the planning, and I have printed out all of the comments and suggestions you sent me last fall. Believe me - I take them all to heart! If you have any additional ideas, please let me know. For those who have never attended a conference before, I promise you it will be well worth the trip and the expense. There will be so much education, so much growth, and so much fun - you'll leave swearing that you'll be going every year! And for those veterans who'll be making it to Costa Mesa, I hope we do you proud. As we get go along, I'll be posting more info..... Best hopes to all- Colleen mom to Caitlin, 9, systemic JRA --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
