Guest guest
Bacteria is not my issue--it's lack of bile acids. Which can be from a clogged up gallbladder but the acid part in digestion is what is not working correctly. And one would think not enough acid I would have a overgrowth of bacteria--but the test results say no. And my pancreatic enzymes are fine (lipase is 28 from range 16-63) as well as my bilirubin number is low (.4 from range of .0 to 1.2)---my ALT is what jumped up from 14 to now 44 (range from 50 to 136) I just may not be producing enough acid to digest the fats. Which is why I am taking the betaine hcl and that seems to be working. But I still have to deal with how to get rid of the stones. And why they formed?? Is it soley from the lack of enough acid to digest and break down the fats? also the calcium blood test results are low---not high like those with kidney stones are. So why are my stones calcium based?? somehow I am sucking the calcium out of my body and forming stones. I am also looking into this avenue as well. Thanks for all the info---tina--uggggg
