The iPod belongs to the big company Apple and is popular because they were the first to come out with nice ones and have good marketing plans etc.. lol. They make the now iPod shuffle which is what i won, the iPod Nano, iPod video iPhone, iPod Touch and some others in between. The shuffle is like 80 bucks whereas the iPhone is around $400.00 The 2st and 2nd generation thing has to do with the latest model so the thing I have is a 2nd generation iPod shuffle and is an improvement over the first shuffle. It has a handy dandy clip, comes in various colors and has some other features that make it special. Things like the iPod 80gb can hold movies, tv shows and of course music.. like thousands of songs. My shuffle is 1gb which holds about 230ish songs on it. They all are fairly small, flat and stylish. You can check them out on apple.com I believe the site is. Many other companies make Mp3 players as well but apple has a huge part of the market with their iPods. Sansa also makes really great mp3 players but a lot of people don't realize that as well as Creative. Competition.... gotta have it.. hehe. Anyways, the thing I like best is that wel, I had a Creative Muvo mp3 player before and I could see what song was currently playing on it however it used batteries and the iPod shuffle has a charger so you can upload your music onto it from your computer and charge it in several hours It will play for around 10 hours before it needs to be charged again. So yeh.. it plays your music... it holds a lot... some holds just an amazing amount of music.. you can buy music off from plaes like Rhapsody or iTunes and/or use a CD ripper and rip yourr music off your CD's to put on your player. I have been so busy in the past years Ummmm I can do so much on a Computer but when it comes to a VCR or a CD or DVD ummmm No one wants me around them as I will mess one up. I holler for the kids to come help if I want to watch a movie. lololol. As for my Music playing thing's I have a Cassette Recorder with a CD player or it's the DVD thingy ummm I use the Cassette player cause for some reason that CD thing does not work for me. lolol. It has a remote controller and likes to spook me with it. As she will turn it on and not be down stairs lololol. In my car I have a CD player or it could be the DVD thingy. You should have seen me trying to figuire that out lolol. I just said ok put it on my station and leave it alone lolol. I am looking for a Cassette player for my car and it is hard to find as everything has gone to CD or DVD or that M3 stuff. lololol. I have to say I am just easy going with thing's. Bring back the Records and the 8 Tracks lolololol. I would be cool with that. But I know times change and 1 day I will slow down to learn how to use those thing's.
