OT: persistent sore throat

I have a question. Hannah has had a sore throat for more than a month. She's

had 2 negative strep screens and a normal culture. It hurts more towards

bedtime than any other time of day. Last night I looked in her throat and there

is a pea sized bump on the back of her throat. Not as far down as the tonsils,

but not on the roof of her mouth either. I'm taking her in today because they

need to be sure it's not a polyp. She is excellent about rinsing her mouth

after Advair, so I don't think its thrush.

Have any of your kids had a throat polyp? What if anything do they do for

this? Any other thoughts?
