Guest guest
Hi everyone, Anyone ever hear of something called molocure? It is an aloe vera derivative and claims to " cure " or at least help CFS... Judy B.
Guest guest
Hi Judy and All, I just did a search on molocure and I found info at: www.molocure.com It all sounds pretty good, but it, to me is frightfully expensive. It is $179 per bottle of 270, which is a 1 to 3 months supply. If if was $50-$60 per bottle for proportionally less capsules, I would try it but it is sadly not possible. They say that it is made from aloe vera. I will try to take some aloe vera for a while just to get the sense if it might help. Mike
Guest guest
If they really use the word " cure " I would run for the hills. If something could cure CFS I think we would all know about it. Of course help is another story. Unfortunately I can't help you there, I have not heard of it. Be sure it says it helps Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and not just chronic fatigue. That is a common sleight of hand / misunderstanding. Thanks, Doris ----- Original Message ----- From: " judy " <baumelj@...> > Hi everyone, > Anyone ever hear of something called molocure? Guest guest
I've heard of it, and discussed it with my naturopath, and after she spent some time investigating information about it, we decided that it sounded too profit driven to believe everything you hear and decided not to try it. It's supposed to be really good for Crohn's, but I'm on a colitis/Crohn's e-mail list and it seems like every time you turn around someone on that list is trying it, and it doesn't work for them, and it has gained a rather negative reputation among them. However, in this disease, (CFS) there is a wide range of what works, and what doesn't work, and sometimes something works for some even though it doesn't work for others, and if it weren't for the cost, I probably would have tried it, just to see if it lived up to it's claims. I'm currently using organic aloe vera juice daily to deal with IBS and have been for about a while with little noticeable benefit, but I did have a significant improvement after being on minocycline for a month, and I've been hoping that the aloe vera may help me keep the ground I gained with the minocycline. lindaj@... Guest guest
I've used it - I was taking it to help heal my colon, which isn't in the best of shape from too much cleansing over the years. I finished the first bottle, and then finally found out that the main source of my problems was a large gallstone and not the colon. I've stopped taking it beacuse the protocols for Molocure and gall bladder flushing are exactly the opposite. With the gall bladder flushes, you're trying to open things up and clean out. Lots of fiber and fruit juice. With Molocure, you're trying to have things not flush out of you several times a day, sometimes with diarrhea. You try to achieve one or two normal bowel movents a day, taking immodium to beat the diarrhea, and a very low fiber bland diet to give your colon a chance to heal. Great for people with IBS, but not so much for gallstones. I'm sure it's a great overall health booster, but it's really expensive, and I'm holding off taking more until I beat the gallstone problem and can then cocentrate on doing the molocure program the right way. > http://www.molocure.com/colon.shtml > > > has anyone used this?? Guest guest
our Uncle recently took immodium and it was the biggest mistake for him--read the bottle--you are only allowed to take it for a few days-- he took it for some weeks and caused a blockage--huge mistake!!!!! Molocure is a coating--it stops ulcers and allows healing all throughout the digestive tract. That is really it's main purpose. gallstones are really from not being about to digest properly--it's this un-balance that causes them. check out the article I send from Dr. Kennedy a few posts back-- fix this problem and you maybe able to stop future gallstones--fyi. check also leaky gut issues as well. (molocure is great for this as well as inflammation) I am doing great on my Betaine HCL--only one a day with a big meal and I am really seeing the difference in my digestion. The back pain is slowly going away as well. And the colon is more normal---weird too. tina <livesoutwest@y...> wrote: > I've used it - I was taking it to help heal my colon, which isn't in > the best of shape from too much cleansing over the years. Guest guest
I am not sure of your point of this response - what is 'too much cleansing'? Taking Imodium, etc...sounds like you are confused about colon cleansing and gall/liver cleansing...just an observation. --- Jay Friedlander <livesoutwest@...> wrote: > I've used it - I was taking it to help heal my > colon, which isn't in > the best of shape from too much cleansing over the > years. Guest guest
I overdid coffee enemas for a long time, resulting in some bad side effects, like inconsistent bowel movements. The Molocure program is great for undoing that sort of damage, but you have to minimize dietary fiber and take immodium (limited quantities for awhile) to stop chronic diarrhea, so that the colon gets a chance to rest and heal. Now that I've finally found that my primary problem is gallstones, I don't want to limit the fiber, as I want to clean things out right now, not hold them back. If I can get rid of the gallstones, I plan to go back on Molocure, but inconsistent bowel movements are a secondary problem for me at this point. > > > http://www.molocure.com/colon.shtml > > > > > > > > > has anyone used this?? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ____________________________________________________ > Start your day with - make it your home page > http://www./r/hs
Guest guest
I have to say I kind of understand what you are going through with the inconsistant bowel --For about 6 months I really couldn't figure out what was wrong with me it's like something was just not working correctly---hard to explain it was like I had very little power to go to the bathroom--like no push. I didn't know if it was colon, kidney--never thought gallbladder-- thyroid will give you bathroom problems big time---and I am approaching menopause. So I thought it could be anything. so I had an ultrasound done they found nothing wrong with the female parts and then a week later had the gallbladder attack. But let me get to the point-- this betaine HCL must be doing something because the bathroom is more normal than ever before. It's just not a difficult deal now--I take only one with a big meal and go twice a day--like you are suppose too. I have even been able to add a little butter to veggies---I am improving. And no gallbladder pain---just still a bit in the back. But seems to be better. it's only been a week-- and from what I can figure out when bile is missing from the digestive track you have these kinds of problems--as well as stones forming. digestive enzymes might be what you need as well??????? Have you ever tried them??? > > > > http://www.molocure.com/colon.shtml > > > > > > > > > > > > has anyone used this?? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ____________________________________________________ > > Start your day with - make it your home page > > http://www./r/hs
