He has now developed ataxia (can't balance when walking) and has very distinct swellings on his temples. We, and the doctors, are desp. searching for answers. As a mother of a child with neurological problems, the ataxia worries me. Has he seen a pediatric neurologist? That is where I think I would take him to. Has he had a CT and/or MRI of the head?
