Guest guest
our ped that I work for that is also Calebs ped came in today and said I have good news and bad. I was like ok what is it she says that caleb according to his labs etc has had fifths disease also known as parvo b19 a normal childhood disease that is commen but his case is one of those rare cases when they said it was all in his head they were part right. They virus that you usualy dont even know you have attacked his central nervous system ie his brain and that is why he cant walk. So we have to have biofeedback to teach him all of this again. The way she described this to me is like a stroke pt has to learn to function again this is what he will have to do. that the visus causes rashes and fevers and joint pain but this for some reason attacked his CNS. so we wait for 8 weeks to see a biofeedback specialist. he sees ortho on wed to possibly get casted because he now has tight heel cords due to nonuse. so that is where we are so far!
