Guest guest
Its very advisable in my opinion not to just go straight into a gallbladder and liver cleanse. You could feel pretty ill if you have a very congested liver...and its best to prepare for a few weeks at least in advance with appropriate herbs to cleanse the liver and bile. look at www.sensiblehealth.com julia knows her stuff. I was very sick and had no success with one of my cleanse attempts....I took the herbs to decongest the liver etc and this was a better result. Guest guest
HI to everyone I am new to the group--I did the cleanse Thur.--2 weeks prior I started only fruit diet and extracting apple juice (one site mentioned you smooth out the stones?) So this is what I did--but since I was home alone I started early in the day---everything was going pretty well until two hours after the oil and lemon I threw it up. After reading others sites I realized the majority said 1/2 a cup of each (oil and lemon) and I did almost double that amount. The lemon caused acid reflex type reaction and I knew I could not hold it down. So after that I stayed in bed for another 3 hours --a total of only 5 hours. I got up did the salts and did find little pea size green stones ---very soft though. But not a lot very few--maybe 15 at most. Anyway I don't consider it a failure because I felt great the next day. It's been almost a month since my gallbladder attack--ct scan ect. I refused to have surgery figuring I better read up on this first. And I am ok---I think you have to wait two weeks to try again?? I got hubby to do it this weekend---He has kidney stones so we did the watermelon flush first (and a week of juice) and then the quart a day of raw apple juice. (for three days) His was much more of a success than mine!!!!!! And I will know tomorrow how he is feeling---he was having back pain. My stomach is still swollen so I know I have to do it a few more times. I am grateful I did not react and go into surgery--since I have low thyroid ( I am also the owner of a thyroid support group) and our members have gallstones big time. (something you might want to check into as well --hypothyroidism --- just a fyi---- anyway----any thoughts or info I would appeciate since I am very new to all of this--- thanks--tina --- In gallstones , " Anne Devereaux " <vanadeux@b...> wrote: > Its very advisable in my opinion not to just go straight into a gallbladder > and liver cleanse. > > You could feel pretty ill if you have a very congested liver...and its best > to prepare for a few weeks at least in advance with appropriate herbs to > cleanse the liver and bile. > > look at www.sensiblehealth.com julia knows her stuff. > > I was very sick and had no success with one of my cleanse attempts....I took > the herbs to decongest the liver etc and this was a better result. > > ANNE

Guest guest
Hi Anne I was just wondering how long did you do the Chinese Bitters and GCG before you went to the flush? I have been eating a very healthy diet and taking the Chinese Bitters but I have not yet started on the GCG cause I think it takes about a month on the Chinese Bitters before you start taking the GCG. So I am figuring at least 2 months before I can do my first flush. Does that sound about right? thanks Lori
