OT/ Funny thing's :-)

Hi Everyone,

The Holidays were at times Hilarious as always around my house. lololol.

You know as we grow up and see thing's differently we realize many thing's in

life.

I was out with my Sister and Brother the other night and we stopped at a

Gas Station. I sat in the car and got to reading this sign which told what

was inside the Store. I waited to see all of the words ride by on this machine.

lolololol. Welcome and Have a Nice Day Started it off. It went on with what

was inside. When it came to this one word I wondered for a Minute NOW I know

how to spell. I waited and reread the sign. Ummmmm As my Sister came back I

said did you see any Do Nuts in there? She said what are you talking about? I

said ok you need to sit and read that sign then you will understand. So she

did and said oh it must be a New way of saying Doughnuts. lololol.

Ok, I think it said DOnuts not doughnuts. My Sister and Brother said I

DARE You to go in and ask for it. lolololol. I got out and walked in and said I

am looking for DOnuts. Where are they? The Man looked at me like I must be

from another Planet. lololol. I said well your sign says you have DO Nuts and

I wanted to see what they were. WHERE does he take me? Over to the

Doughnuts. I do not think the guy was Educated in the US or in Georgia as I was

always

taught to spell Doughnuts this way. Doughnuts. Dough Nuts not Do Nuts. He

said well this is our Donuts in a accent. I looked at the Package and explained

to him he miss spelled it on the Sign. He said no DoNuts and pointed. On the

package it spells Doughnuts not DOnuts.

He walked out to see what I was saying. I looked at my Sister and Brother

and they were laughing at this.

The man said oh Me fix this soon. I said well I hope so cause in these

neck of the woods we would not know that y'all sell DOUGH nuts here lolol. But

some may think you are a DO Nuts Stores. He looked at me in the oddest way. I

said see Ya next week for some DO Nuts magazines. lololololol.

Ok, That did it for my Siblings as both were cracking up. I was busting

loose as well. We went to Walmart and asked for some Donuts and they did not

know what I was saying or talking about. They asked is it something to wear or

is it a toy? I explained to the woman what had happened at the Gas Station

and she busted out laughing to. lololol. She said ok I am from the South and

have been around the US. She had only seen Doughnuts spelled Doughnuts. She

said well I bet he has not been here long. It was funny.
