Guest guest
We are sitting in the hospital getting his remicade so I thought I would do a quick update. Nick started on a higher dose of remicade last month and was doing well until this week. A few days ago he started to complain of left knee pain and then last night left hip pain. hes not had hip pain since onset nearly 5 years ago. It was hard to see him trying to run around the house and having to jump or skip every other step because of his hip and knee. We put heat on them last night and he says they feel better today. He was telling me he gets tired during recess and I asked why doesnt he ask to go inside, but he refuses to miss the fun, he says he goes and lays down in a snowbank for a few minutes and then carries on playing. What a stubborn mule he is!!! Nick got a scratch on his face towards the end of Sept. it still has not healed, its going on 4 months!!! anyone got any good ideas what I can put on it to get rid of the darn thing. I keep bandaids on it to stop the scratching but its going to leave a nasty scar ( hugs Helen and (10,systemic)

Guest guest
Hunter has trouble with healing on the face, too. Her doctor gave a some kind of cream that has a steriod in it. Clears up right away. It has been a while since she had to use it. Will call pharmacy tomorrow to find out what it was called. How the added remicade works really soon.
