Guest guest
Hi everyone: It's been a very exhausting week for us. My dad is still in the hospital and spent 2 days in ICU this week. Things have gotten very complicated. The good news is his cancer is essentially in remission. The bad news is that he has a lot of fluid in his lungs that they can't clear up. He also has had a heart valve problem that we've known about for a long time, but its getting worse and more critical. It should be fixed, but if they did surgery right now, he would not survive. So we are fighting an uphill battle, and one that we will not conquer anytime soon. Hannah is having a terrible time with all of this. My kids are very close to my parents and she is such a sensitive soul she's having a hard time. She is also flaring like crazy (and has been for several weeks before all this happened with my dad). Her knee gave out on her AGAIN this week, but she's ok with her brace on. She goes for a PT eval next week. So if you could keep both her and my dad (and Jay too) in your prayers I would appreciate it.
