Guest guest
What's your opinion on daily meds? vs only meds. when you are feeling the worst? My dd is almost 14 and has daily stiffness in her legs and then has flares of pain that last for a few weeks at a time. When she has pain it's not to the point she can't get up and move...she gets up and goes to school but it does limit how much she can do. Like she won't be able to run around outside or do heavy physical activity because it hurts too much. So during those times she takes ibuprofen or aleve. It doesn't totally get rid of the pain but takes the edge off at least and she feels better. At what point do you see your rhuematologist? Do you think it's best to be proactive in cases like this and keep her on daily meds? It seemed the ped. was in the boat of saying give only when she's in pain. I am going to call on monday to the rhuemi if she's still in pain...and ask what's best. I'd like to know what's the norm. in cases like this? Thanks.
