Guest guest
You have my congratulations already - this is such wonderful news for you and I hope you have a good doctor who will help you through your pregnancy. I am certain too that is the wonderful Armour that has done the trick. So long as you are taking Armour and have been for a while and your NHS doctor is prescribing this for you, according to the Royal College, it is entirely up to your doctor whether he wishes to continue prescribing it or not, and I honestly doubt that any doctor would stop their patient if they are doing so well and put them back on to synthetics. Do stay with us and let us know how you are getting on. There are lots of articles on the Internet about pregnancy and hypothyroidism, Dr Lowe and Shomon in particular have good articles. Any questions you might have, just shout and somebody will be along to give you some answers. Has your doctor advised you regarding increasing your Armour? luv - Sheila P.S I'd love to hear from anyone who has gone through pregnancy on Armour as the prospect has terrified my endo.......... Guest guest
Congratulations , I have only just found your posting but this is such wonderful news, I'm so thrilled for you. Your news gives me the hope I have been looking for as I am now taking Armour (only since Christmas) and hope to try for another baby later this year after two miscarriages last year whilst taking levo, Thank you for sharing your wonderful news and good luck to you and yours xxx > > Just to let you know I am just about 10 weeks pregnant (after 3 miscarriages in past 18 months). I have just had my 3rd scan & all is well!! > Thank you particularly to Sheila for all her kind advice. I had another blood test today so hope that my levels are still as good as before. I feel pretty sure that the reason things are different this time is the Armour. At the moment I have a good supply & don't think any doctor would be foolish enough to try & change my treatment while pregnant. I did mention this at my appointment last week & he seemed to think that I'd be able to continue to get Armour prescribed throughout this pregnancy. > > P.S I'd love to hear from anyone who has gone through pregnancy on Armour as the prospect has terrified my endo.......... >
