Guest guest
Hi , You could try Jerry Newports book Autism - Aspergers Puberty and Beyond. I think you can get it through Autism Today at www.autismtoday.com. Another good book for that age group is " Taking Care of Myself by Wobel. Also Autism-Aspergers, What Does It Mean To Me, Faherty. They have lots of good books. leigh Looking for a book Hi, I am the parent of a 6yo son with HFA and a 11 yo son with Aspergers. My 11 yo son is having puberty/11yo behavior changes. Throwing the confusions of liking a girl made things messier. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good book for autistic boys and puberty. They are also teaching a sexuality 101 course at his school and I could use some ideas as to how to explain things to him. I do get to view the tapes before he does to understand which questions he might ask. By the time I had learned of the girl she dumped him. It made a big emotional mess. Hopefully that will never happen again! yeah right! I have him convinced that girls don't exist until you are 18! My 9 yo normal child bought it! thanks julia ps. how does anyone have time to computer play with an autistic child????

Guest guest
I'll second the suggestion for Jerry's book. I haven't seen the others but Jerry's books are pretty good. It helps tohave someone with asperger's writing about asperger's. MISSY SAHM to some special kids!!! I am who I am because that's who I am --, 5 All kids are gifted; some just open their packages earlier than others. -- Carr Looking for a book > > > > > Hi, > I am the parent of a 6yo son with HFA and a 11 yo son with > Aspergers. Guest guest
My sister is planning to intern with a Rheumatologist this summer as a prep for her studies as a Physicians Assistant, and is looking for someone that might own this book... PRIMER ON RHEUMATIC DISEASE, 13TH EDITION She is hoping to borrow this book, since it costs $70, and she's a poor college student living on Ramen Noodles. If you have this book, and are willing to part with it for about 2 months this summer, please send me an e-mail. Thanks, Fischer DPA Architects, Inc.
