Guest guest
Michele: You are welcome. I saw the article in Arthritis Today magazine and saw familiar names, so I just had to go on the web and find it to post to the group. We did go to Puerto Vallarta and had a great time. You can see pictures on my webblog at http://www.xanga.com/snooksmama I am feeling really good! The Orencia is working! I would never have been able to snorkel, swim, atv and walk so much last week without it. And, I'm now OFF my prednisone!! How is doing? Have his meds kicked in yet? What about your hubby, how is he feeling? Is your mom doing ok?? Would love to catch up! and Rob 19 JAS /article > Thanks so much for posting the article. Guest guest
Great site and I loved the pictures! But really tell Rob he needs to stop smiling soooo much - LOL! What is it about kids that age - especially guys- having to look cool? Saw the tattoo also - not too bad. Have to tell you my youngest celebrated her 18th the other day the same way her sister did - by getting her belly button pierced! Next she says is a tattoo. Ah well, there are worse things I guess and as long as I don't have to look at it.... I am glad to hear the Orencia is working. Ed has been on the mtx (and is taking it- yeah!) for only about 4 weeks so no real results yet. However the Ultram has given him a good measure of relief and it seems to also be leveling out his moods. I know he was in so much pain, I am glad he is seeing some relief. The mtx is what has to be tried first before the next step. The dr said that is the way the insurance will pay for any biologics if he needs them. My mom is doing really great. She is driving again and has even driven in here to Chicago. Her main complaint is that she gets tired sooner in the evenings. She is back at her water class and volunteering at the library. We are gearing up for the big " Book and Bake Sale " July 11 and 12. I go up and help her for the two days. She used to come and help me run mine when I did one for the kids school every year, so now its my turn to pay her back. She seems to getting back to her old self. is just taking the Arthrotec. I ask him when he is going to start the mtx, but he just kind of says " Yeah, ma, I will " but doesn't seem to do it. He has his good days and bad, and has been busy with work, and his side detail jobs. Is Rob back at Target during summer break? Is he going back to school in the fall? I really like your site - I've been thinking of doing something like that. I may just give it a try.
