Update on Emerson 6yr sys JRA/uevitis

Update on Emerson ...

First I would like to " Thank " everyone for there suggestions and guidance and

help. It's greatly appreciated. I'm making a binder and notes of everything to

help me !

Its been crazy at home so I apologize for just now writing back to everyone.

Emmie had her CT scan of her sinuses last week, everything was normal and no

polyups !! Just minimmal sinus.

This Monday we went in to Children's, they went down with the scope, THANK GOD,

so far everything looked normal, no ulcers, no tumor, or cancer. Dr. Rosenburg

took biopsy's and are sending them off we should have results by Thursday. They

also did the PH Test on her, which she hated when she woke up but the tape

hurted her more then when they removed the tubing out of her nose and throat. We

came home this morning !!

I have been talking with Steve, he's been helping me. Thank you and Thank you

Steve !!

Emmie see's Dr. Tere Vevis over at Children's in New Orleans, I'm looking for a

Ocular Immunology specialist to help her.  Any suggestions???

Since we did the scope, Dr.Rosenburg thinks it definitety could be the

medications shes on..

THANK you for all of your advice. Tomatoes, peppermints, I took notes on

everything. I will e-mail you !

Thanks for the info. I talked to Dr.Gedalia about Remicade, we go on the 30th he

said he would change if we want to try it. I'm just scared b/c she has been

doing so well with the arthritis stand point I hate to change her, but we need

to save her eyes !!

I think we will be scheduling a trip to see Dr..

How long did you wait to bring Charlotte to see him???

You sound good!  Yes a sees Dr. .  I owe her vision to him.  He will

work with anyone.  We are planning to go back in September for the walk of

vision.  This is our way our family tries to give back to someone who has given

so much to others. 

 

There is an adult member on the uosg.org site that comes for New Orleans.  He is

older, but Dr. works with his glaucoma specialist.
