Phooey! Well, that's not the word I really want to use.  I really just want to

bawl my eyes out quite honestly, but I'm sitting at my desk at work, so I'm

coming back to my JRA list friends.....it's been a quiet 2 years for with

absolutely NO JRA symptoms....

She's not been without her health problems....shortly after her JRA symptoms

disappeared...her GI symptoms reared their ugly head and we've been dealing with

them ever since....Ulcerative Colitis to be exact.  Still not under control, and

she recently started on Remicade infusions for the UC, after nothing else worked

for her and some of the other drugs actually made her UC symptoms worse.

Remicade (5 treatments so far) has been barely touching her UC.  Still....no JRA

symptoms...her rheumy had pretty much just turned her over to her Gastro's

care.  I was so thankful for at least that.

But the last 2 weeks, she has been complaining of knee pain.  Today, she woke up

and her left knee was swollen and warm.  She couldn't walk on it.  My heart and

stomach sank....Still, I thought....maybe it's just an injury....let's get her

into the doctor....get an xray....just maybe....

Hubby just got back with her from the doctor....no dice....no injury.... " looks

like IT'S back " the doc says.  So here we go again.....my poor baby....I know

you've all felt this way before......can't she get a break??

Thanks for 'listening'
