Guest guest
Hey everyone, we haven't been around for a while but as my daughter is relapsing now I'm back searching for answers. :-) Isabel is oligo ANA+ and was declared three months ago to be in remission. Apparently it didn't last long. :-) However, here's our short story and my question for you, if you don't mind. She was diagnosed while we were living in Missouri, then we decided it was time to go back to school and moved to Utah. She went into " remission " there, just under a year later, but we returned to Missouri for the summer for an internship. Here for a month and a half, and this week she's totally flaring. We're starting her again on her MTX and anti-inflammatories, and she all but can't walk. So, here's my question. The changes in location and humidity could be totally coincidental, but as my husband will be graduating in April with his MBA and we're starting the job hunt now we have a little flexibility in where we'll settle down for this next stage of life. Have you noticed a difference in your kids' JRA (or your own) related to climates or weather? I know she flares more before storms when the barometer drops, but is it worth looking to live in a drier climate? What would you do? Do you think it matters? Thanks everyone!
