Guest guest
Well, most likely that is what it is. Ever since she took her aleve pill she had been having pain mid chest area in her esophagus yesterday. She barely was able to eat her lunch it hurt too much. Dinner I made her a shake. So I called the dr. and because she woke up still hurting too much to eat she's to be on a liquid/soft food diet for 2 wks. Hurts to even eat yogurt. I'm going to have to go out and buy some ensure and protein drinks for her. She is so so tiny as it is she can't afford to loose any weight on a liquidish diet. The aleve caused irritation in her esophagus...I'm not sure if it got stuck there going down or what. I myself can't take aleve because of the number it does on my stomach...and motrin I can only handle for a short time. So I imagine if the pill did not make it to her stomach and was lodged halfway down it probably was very very irritating to the lining of her esophagus. Ugh. Anyway, the dr. sent in a perscription of naproxen suspension. Hopefully that'll help the esophagus pain along with the joint pain.
