Guest guest
Lucy is supposed to be officially in remission. She had an MRI on her right wrist and there was no synovitis. Both wrists were hurting but we MRI'd the right because that was where the jra started. Lucy had been having a lot of wrist pain but no swelling or stiffness so the rheumy wanted the MRI to make sure it wasn't jra. Anyway, we're sitting here watching a movie and she shows me a bony bump on the back of her wrist. It doesn't move so I'm thinking it's a bone spur. I've googled a little and it says that most bone spurs are caused by osteoarthritis. Could it be from jra? I dread going back to the rheumy because I've nagged her so much about Lucy's pain and always she tells me that it's not active arthritis.I'm wondering if I should go back to the pediatric hand specialist that first suspected jra 2 1/2 years ago. Amy and Lucy ???
