Guest guest
my daughter has been taking naproxen for 16 days and tonight while she was in the bath I counted 13 small bruises on her legs. Is this pretty common and nothing to worry about? would this really happen this quickly?
Guest guest
Yes, the bruising is very normal. Lexi started on naproxen in early May of 2010 and by the end of the month was covered in bruises (arms, legs, abdomen, and buttocks). She's also quite klutzy and is constantly tripping over her own feet. I mentioned it to her new rheumy last week and he said its an expected side effect and " no reason to stop the medication. " Just keep an eye on her to make sure her stomach isn't bleeding (vomitting coffe ground looking material or tarry stools), but if naproxen is taken with food it shouldn't happen. , daughter is, 5, pauci > > my daughter has been taking naproxen for 16 days and tonight while she was in the bath I counted 13 small bruises on her legs.
