I also alternate advanced and basic tapes every day and have found that it works better for me (I used to just do all the advanced tapes). I work out 6 days a week. I saw your other message about whether tae-bo alone was enough and I have to say yes. Before doing tae-bo, I was running and lifting weights and then I started doing only tae-bo and I have never been more defined in my life. My arms and shoulders have definition and my abs are toned also. So, if you want to take a break from the weights, I think you will be surprised at how toned you can get just from tae-bo! Just remember to really focus on the muscle you are using and when you are doing the basic tape try to really use a little more intensity since it's a slower pace and contract the muscles as you do each move. Good luck and I'm glad you've joined our group! I'll be posting more often once I get back home. There's a group of us out here right now for the Live tapings that will be seen on Pay Per View next month. So, we're all having a great time! Guest guest
Jessie: Welcome to the list. I have an 11 yo son with OCD, PDD, depression, LD in written expression, ADHD. My son has similar obsessions to your daughter. He worries about death and dying -- his, ours, the whole world's -- germs, has a need for reassurance. You will find lots of support on this list. How much Prozac is your daughter on? Often, it takes a much higher dose of an SSRI to treat OCD than to treat depression. Aiden takes 60 mg of Prozac, 1 mg of Risperdal, and 1.25 mg of Zyprexa. It's good you requested an appointment with a behavioral psychologist. You might also want to find a child psychiatrist to manage her meds and look for a therapist trained in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and E & RP (exposure and response prevention). Guest guest
Angel, what a beautiful name you have! Welcome to the list, it's woderful that your husband boguht you a computer to find support on this list. Believe me you will find a lot of support! One suggestion I can give to help loosing weight is buying the Jean Antonello's " breaking out of food jail " . Many people from this list suggested that to me, I'm reading it now and it is very helpful. It teaches you how to loose weight eating more!!! You can find cheap copies at www.half.com. Plus, doing LL everyday will bring you to those inches loss that you are hoping for. Now, remember that everyone has different bodies, so don't worry if you are not loosing inches right at the beginning! good luck!
